James Walker, Site Coordinator
Welcome to the Dayton's Bluff Achievement Plus 21st CCLC Extended Day Program! My name is James Walker, and I really appreciate your visiting our web page! I have several years of experience in the Saint Paul Public School District, including two years of teaching at Highwood Hills Elementary School. I am dedicated to helping our young people build healthy, successful futures.

Our mission is to provide an opportunity for students and their families to continue to learn new skills and discover new abilities after the school day has ended.  We have utilized some

Also this year, we will be collaborating with Cleveland Junior High to offer opportunities for fifth and sixth grade Dayton's Bluff students to visit and take part in activities at Cleveland. The program is designed to help our older students make the transition to a junior high environment.

The 21st CCLC program takes place from 3:00pm - 5:30pm, Monday - Thursday, and begins in early October.  A snack is provided as well as transportation for eligible students.
pinata
A pinata-making class takes place every summer.
Classes are designed to primarily serve children who are not at grade level in reading and/or math. Participants receive one hour of academic assistance in math and reading, and one hour of enrichment.  Enrichment classes include: Arts and Crafts, Jump into Fitness, Y-Start (a YMCA leadership program) and Dayton's Bluff Cinema.

If you have any questions about the program or would like to register your child, please call me at 651-293-8915. You may also access our school website at http://www.daytonsbluff.spps.org.
